We meet at Ivey Memorial Park for trip orientation, gear check, kayak fitting, and smart expedition-style packing tips. After shuttling to Suwannee River State Park, we launch into a gentle first paddle past moss-draped oaks and limestone banks. By early evening, we reach a sandy riverside beach to make camp, enjoy a gourmet wilderness dinner, and unwind as the Suwannee settles into night. (Lunch & dinner included · 6 miles)
-
Wake to your favorite hot drink as guides prepare a hearty riverside breakfast. We break camp and paddle deeper into the Suwannee’s calm, winding rhythm, letting the miles slip by effortlessly. A relaxed lunch along the riverbank offers time to stretch, refuel, and soak in the quiet beauty before continuing downstream. By afternoon, we arrive at Dowling Park River Camp, where comfort meets wilderness—screened shelters, showers, and riverside relaxation. The day ends with another delicious dinner and a peaceful night beside the river. (All meals included · 8.7 miles)
-
After a relaxed riverside breakfast, we paddle into a broader, open stretch of the Suwannee, drifting past limestone banks and forested shores at an easy, unhurried pace. We pause at Charles Spring, then linger at stunning Allen Mill Pond Spring for a nourishing lunch and a scenic hike where crystal-clear water meets preserved wilderness. By late afternoon, we arrive at Lafayette Blue Springs State Park to set up camp beneath the trees—ending a 10-mile day with good food, quiet conversation, and the river settling into dusk. (All meals included · 10 miles)
-
Today we slow the pace and savor a well-earned rest day at Lafayette Blue Springs State Park, one of the Suwannee’s most beautiful spring sanctuaries. After an unhurried breakfast, the day is yours—float in the crystal-clear spring, relax in camp, or wander forest trails beneath towering trees. For those inspired to learn, our ACA-certified instructors offer optional, low-pressure kayak instruction—refining strokes, boat control, and rescue skills in a supportive setting. The evening brings a relaxed dinner, quiet conversation, and another peaceful night immersed in nature. (All meals included)
-
After breakfast, we slip back into the Suwannee’s easy rhythm, paddling quiet bends beneath shaded banks. Midday brings a stop at Telford Springs—a tucked-away gem where we enjoy a relaxed spring-side lunch and, for the adventurous, a swim beneath submerged limestone ledges linking crystal-clear pools. By afternoon we reach Peacock Slough River Camp for an evening of shared stories, a delicious dinner, and another peaceful night by the river. (All meals included · 7.2 miles)
-
Today we paddle into one of the Suwannee’s most peaceful, remote stretches, moving confidently through long bends framed by limestone banks and forested shores. Along the way, we stop at Convict Springs and explore the striking Royal Spring Run, where crystal-clear spring water meets dark tannin flow—perfect for cooling off and slowing down. By afternoon, we arrive at Adams Tract River Camp for dinner, quiet reflection, and one of our final, unforgettable nights along the river. (All meals included · 10.6 miles)
-
We set out on one final paddle, savoring the familiar rhythm of the Suwannee as the journey gently comes full circle. Weather and conditions permitting, we stop at Troy Springs State Park and Little River Springs—a last chance to swim, explore, and reflect in crystal-clear spring water. By early afternoon, we arrive back at Ivey Memorial Park, wrapping up an unforgettable expedition with time to unload, say goodbyes, and depart unhurried. (Breakfast & lunch included · 9.2 miles)

We paddle downstream, so the current helps! It’s a steady, moderate pace with breaks, snacks, and swims. If you can walk a couple miles comfortably, you’ll be just fine.
-
Florida weather can be unpredictable, but we watch it closely. Light rain? We paddle. Severe weather? We adjust safely. Comfort and safety always come first.

Most nights you'll stay in elevated, screened river shelters with electricity, bathrooms, and hot showers. One night we'll do more primitive tent camping, but we provide all the gear and there are still facilities nearby. It’s comfy, mosquito-free, and always close to nature.
-
You’ll be in true Florida wilderness—peaceful and unplugged—but we do have access to help if needed. Safety and comfort are always covered.
-
We are often asked, whether it is appropriate to tip the Trip Leaders and what a reasonable amount might be. While we have considered including such gratuities in the overall trip cost, we always come back to the belief that recognizing excellent service is a personal matter. If you feel your Trip Leaders have provided an exceptional trip experience, gratuities are encouraged—and welcomed—at the end of the trip. A typical gratuity on a 7-day Backcountry Paddling Trip is $160 per guest (about $23 per day). The gratuity is then divided among your Trip Leaders.

Trip Insurance Recommendation
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive trip insurance for this multi-day expedition. While we prioritize safety and preparedness on every tour, the Suwannee River is a remote wilderness area, and unforeseen circumstances—such as medical emergencies, personal injury, or the need for early evacuation—can arise. Having travel insurance can help cover the costs of emergency transportation, trip interruption, and other unexpected events, giving you peace of mind so you can fully enjoy your adventure.
Easy Installment Payments
We offer installment payment options on eligible bookings, allowing you to secure your tour now and pay over time with flexible, transparent payments.
